Disneyland Tip: Your Lost Photopass Card

Here’s a good tip if you’re using a Photopass on your trip to any Disney Theme Park.

During the fall and Halloween festivities at Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure, I was using the Photopass Photographers to take family pictures. They got some great pictures of my daughter running into Mickey Mouse’s arms at his home in Toontown. I also attended the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween and had some great photos taken there.

On the last day of the Halloween themed photo opportunities, I got a picture with me and my daughter in front of the big Mickey Mouse pumpkin. The photographer took my picture and scanned my photopass card and that was the last time I saw the card.

I had over 50 pictures on that card and I couldn’t find the card anywhere.

Tip #1: Write down or take a picture of your photopass. If you lose your card, you can still give Disney Cast Members the code and they can pull up your images and transfer them to a new card.

Tip #2: If you’re like me, you didn’t do Tip #1, so go to the nearest photo center. Give the cast member the description of any of the pictures you had taken. Be sure to include information such as the date, a time frame, location in the park and characters in your picture. The cast member will then run a search with that criteria and help you find your photo and the original photo-pass number. And then transfer the photos to a new Photopass card.
